I tell people “listen to what I mean and not to what I say” and look at me now, writing a blog. My English is not good and I am forgetting my Spanish. This blog is just an attempt to let my friends and family know where I am, what I’m doing and sometimes what I’m thinking.
For you that visits this blog and don’t know who I am this is me: I was born in Monterrey, Mexico. I am a wife to Fermin A. Whittaker, a mother to Carlos and Eddie and a grandmother to Sohaila, Seanna and Losiah. Carlos is married to Heather and they are the ones who gave me my grandchildren, they live in Atlanta, GA. Eddie is a businessman and lives in San Diego. My grandchildren call me “Lita”. I called my grandmothers “guelita”, and “guelita” was a mouth full for my grand kids to call me so we settle for “Lita”
The last 13 to 14 years have been such and amazing time in my life, I wish I had documented my weekly trips in this great state of California. My husband and I have been in so many churches, visited with many pastors and their wives. I am blessed because you have touched my life.
Just recently I notice a this Bible verse - Isaiah 58:11- “And the LORD will continually guide you, And satisfy your desire in scorched places, And give strength to your bones; And you will be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water whose waters do not fail.” Isn’t this awesome? But I have to ask for this, it does not come without me asking. God is good all the time.

Hermana haber si me ensena como hacer esto, Dos le bendiga y me alegro que se gozo con sus nietos e hijos.
Espero tenrela nuevamente en nuestra casa fue un lindo placer.

Thanks for the comment on my list of 25 things. Yours is so interesting – very different. I liked it a lot. I wanted to tell you that my grandaughter always heard me called “Abuelita” and she shortened it to “Biba” when she began to talk. She’s nine now and still calls me that. I love it!
