So the owner’s niece proceeded to wax my eyebrows. She burned me!!! it wasn’t bad (I thought), but she kept rubbing the burn part over and over again, I’m not sure what she was doing but it was hurting. I went ahead, paid for the services and left.Twitter

I just started going a few times a year to take care of my brows and am always so nervous putting something that visible in the hands of some one else.
I would def tell the owner – it will only help her business. I’m sure she’d want to know.
You really need to bring this to the attention of the owner. I’ve always thought the idea of putting on hot wax on your body was a bad one. Now I know it for sure. You could never convince me to wax anything, anywhere, anyhow.
Okay I definitely just got an eyebrow burn myself. I’m in highschool and I can’t miss school because I have finals all this week and then a bunch of parties next weekend. FML. What do I do, and how long does it last?
For any of you wax virgins or to those sensitive to wax: always consult first. I recommend never to wax during your menstrual cycle, if you’re on retina, retinal or any products prescribed by dermatologist regardless if used near eyes! Also, we recommend never to wax if you are diabetic. 98% of the time the wax is not dripping wet & should never be! & be sure the profession never waxes the same area more than one time!
