Fresno is a national celebrity and for a good reason!!!
Mary Ann Riojas, who was born with no legs and only one complete arm, mother of four, working full time; was chosen to be the next recipient of the reality show “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” Wow, what a woman! You need to read her story here.
An excitement like I have not seen before has blanketed this city, as thousands of people showed up everyday to volunteer and some to witness this house being build. This episode is scheduled to be shown on ABC March 8.
De Young Properties is the construction company that build this home. ”A community is strengthened when people remain committed to helping each other,” says Paula De Young, Executive Vice President of De Young Properties “That’s our philosophy here at De Young Properties – our team is committed to contributing time and resources to a wide range of charitable endeavors.” About 175 companies were involved in this endeavor.

That is so awesome! I once gave chair massage on the construction workers from that show who built a house near Birmingham. I think it was back in ’04. What a great show to give to families in need.
