I Just SAW An Earthquake

It’s about 8:30 a.m.  I’m sitting at my kitchen table, eating breakfast, watching Good Morning America, my husband is on the phone with Eddie, our son, I look up and the light fixture on top of my kitchen table is swaying.  What is going on?  I did not feel a thing.  I saw an earthquake!!! or was it a ghost?

First Month Anniversary!!!

Happy Anniversary To Me, Happy Anniversary to Me, Happy Anniversary Carmen’s Life Blog, Happy Anniversary to Me!!!!

I can’t believe it, It’s been one month!!!  Yea!!! and to tell you the truth I have enjoyed it.  Carlos had encourage me to blog ever since he started blogging.  I was hesitant, scared, intimidated, I can go on, but to my surprise I have enjoyed the experience.  What does that mean? (Sorry about the questions, is just that I have a friend that analyses people a lot)  Yes, I want people to come by my blog and leave sweet comments, but for the most part I have enjoyed just documenting what I been doing, thinking, and writing about a few silly things that I think are kind of funny.  Every chance I get I tell people that I’m blogging and if they know me they are surprise and encourage me to go on and some even want me to show them how to do it.  Now, I hope that I’m as faithful to “my eating healthy and loosing weight so I can be healthy effort“ as I been to blogging.

Sylmar Fire – 500 Home Gone In One Neighborhood

We were on the 210 Freeway driving back to Fresno, once we got to Sylmar the traffic slowed down.  I looked to my right and there it was, I recognized what I have been hearing on the radio, a trailer park with 500 homes gone.  My heart went out to the people that lost their home, thankfully no one died, as of today there has not been any one missing.
